There is a surprising news for India and Indians. India has remained as one of the top porn watching nations in the world. In it’s annual review, adult website Pornhub has revealed that in 2015, India is the world’s third largest viewer of porn. India has surpassed Canada Germany, France and Australia to claim the spot. The first two positions were taken by America and Britain respectively.
A majority of the porn watchers in the India were aged between 18 and 24. India also ranked fourth (behind Philippines, US and Australia) as far as ‘duration’ of a visit was concerned (9.30 minutes per visit). Porn movie star Sunny Leone, who now acts in Bollywood movies was the actress most searched by Indians
In August last year, the Indian government had ordered internet service providers to block 857 websites hosting pornographic content. Following public outrage on the issue, the Ministry revoked the ban and issued a clarification saying they asked the service providers to block access only to those sites which have child pornographic content.
